About IQAC
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was established in the institution on November 22, 2011, with the primary aim of promoting quality education and ensuring continuous improvement in the academic and administrative processes. The establishment of IQAC marked a significant step towards enhancing the overall quality of education, aligning it with the standards set by accrediting bodies, and fostering an environment of excellence in the institution. Since its inception, the IQAC has played a pivotal role in implementing and monitoring quality assurance mechanisms to achieve the institutional goals.
One of the major contributions of the IQAC is its focus on ensuring that the institution adheres to the guidelines and instructions provided by the M. J. P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, as well as those mandated by the state government. The cell continuously works in tandem with these bodies to ensure that the institution remains compliant with the regulatory requirements. This has been instrumental in the institution's successful accreditation with a B grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in July 2012. The accreditation process was a significant achievement for the institution, validating its commitment to quality education and institutional development.
The IQAC has also been proactive in fostering a culture of academic excellence by motivating and encouraging faculty members to engage in professional development activities. This includes organizing and attending various seminars, workshops, conferences, and faculty development programs. The continuous professional development of the faculty members has been emphasized as it ensures that educators remain well-informed about the latest trends and advancements in their respective fields. This, in turn, enhances the teaching-learning process and helps the institution maintain its reputation for academic rigor.
In the past three years, the IQAC has successfully organized several high-quality academic events. These include three national workshops, three national seminars, and one student induction program (SIP). These initiatives have had a positive impact on both the faculty and the students. The national workshops have served as platforms for knowledge exchange, allowing participants to discuss contemporary academic challenges and explore innovative teaching methodologies. Similarly, the national seminars have facilitated scholarly interactions, bringing together experts and researchers from various disciplines to discuss pertinent issues and share insights. These seminars have not only contributed to the academic growth of the institution but have also elevated its stature within the academic community.
The Student Induction Program (SIP) organized by the IQAC has been a notable initiative to help first-year students adjust to the academic environment of the institution. The program serves as an orientation, guiding students through various academic, administrative, and extracurricular aspects of college life. It helps students build connections, understand institutional policies, and become familiar with the support systems available to them. The
SIP also emphasizes the importance of discipline, time management, and participation in campus activities, setting the stage for a successful academic journey.
The IQAC has also been instrumental in streamlining the internal processes and improving the infrastructure, ensuring that resources are optimally used for the benefit of both faculty and students. Through its various initiatives, the IQAC has contributed significantly to the academic and institutional growth of the college, aligning its objectives with the vision of creating an environment that nurtures academic excellence and personal development. As the institution continues to evolve, the IQAC remains committed to its mission of enhancing quality assurance processes and ensuring the holistic development of its stakeholders.
