1. General Conduct

• Students shall maintain discipline, dignity, and decorum on the campus at all times.
• Every student shall conduct themselves with honesty, integrity, and respect towards fellow students, faculty members, staff, and visitors.
• Students must comply with all rules, regulations, and instructions issued by the College from time to time.

2. Academic Responsibility

• Students are expected to attend classes regularly and maintain the minimum attendance prescribed by the University and the College.
• Active participation in classroom discussions, practical sessions, seminars, and academic activities is encouraged.
• Students shall refrain from plagiarism, cheating, impersonation, or unfair means during examinations.

3. Identity Card

• Every student must carry and display the College Identity Card while on campus.
• The Identity Card shall be produced whenever requested by authorized College personnel.

4. Campus Discipline

• Students shall maintain cleanliness and help preserve the campus environment.
• Damage to College property including classrooms, laboratories, library resources, furniture, equipment, and infrastructure is strictly prohibited.
• Any intentional loss or damage shall be recovered from the concerned student(s).

5. Respect and Equality

• Students shall treat everyone with courtesy and respect irrespective of gender, religion, caste, language, ethnicity, or socio-economic background.
• Any act of discrimination, harassment, bullying, ragging, intimidation, or violence is strictly prohibited.

6. Anti-Ragging

• Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited and punishable under UGC regulations and applicable laws.
• Students found guilty shall be liable for suspension, expulsion, or legal action.

7. Library and Laboratory

• Maintain silence and discipline in libraries and laboratories.
• Books, equipment, computers, and other resources must be used responsibly and returned in proper condition.

8. Digital and Social Media Conduct

• Students shall use digital devices responsibly and avoid disrupting teaching and learning.
• Posting defamatory, offensive, misleading, or confidential College content on social media is prohibited.
• Students shall follow ethical digital practices and respect privacy and cyber security.

9. Dress and Decorum

• Students are expected to wear neat, clean, and decent attire suitable for an academic institution.
• Behaviour affecting the academic atmosphere or the reputation of the College shall not be tolerated.

10. Prohibited Activities

• Consumption or possession of alcohol, tobacco, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, narcotic drugs, or intoxicants.
• Carrying weapons, explosives, or hazardous materials.
• Gambling, vandalism, theft, or destruction of College property.
• Participating in unauthorized demonstrations disrupting College functioning.

11. Environmental Responsibility

• Support Green Campus initiatives by conserving electricity and water.
• Avoid single-use plastics and maintain cleanliness.
• Participation in tree plantation and environmental awareness programmes is encouraged.

12. Grievance Redressal

• Students are encouraged to report grievances, harassment, discrimination, or misconduct through the appropriate committees.
• Students shall cooperate with institutional authorities during inquiries.

13. Disciplinary Action

Violation of any provision of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action including warning, fine, suspension, cancellation of scholarships, withholding of examination results, expulsion from the College, or any other action deemed appropriate by the competent authority.
